Pro-Immigration Reform Guatemalans March in Washington, DC

Guatemalan Immigrants residing in the United States will march on Washington, DC on Sunday, March 21, 2010, along thousands of other pro-immigration reform supporters, to remind President Barack Obama of the campaign promise he made to sign immigration reform into law.

Travleing from Nevada are Isarael Fuentes, founding president of the Las Vegas-based Guatemalan Unity Committee, and Olga Monroy, president of the Reno-based Guatemalan Fraternity of Northern Nevada.

The purpose of this march at the National Mall is to bring to the forefront of the American people the need for humane, fair, and comprehensive immigration reform for new American families.
