LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - 20 NOV 2011 -- Guatemalans residing in Las Vegas, Nevada took advantage of the mobile consulate organized for this weekend by the General Consul of Guatemala in Los Angeles, the Honorable Lic. Pablo Garcia Saenz. Over 400 passports were issued, as well as other consular services. Vice Consul Allan Perez headed the diplomatic delegation. "We are very fortunate to be able to offer the local Guatemalan community this opportunity to renew their passports, consular ID cards, and other consular services right here in Las Vegas, avoiding the need to travel all the way to Los Angeles" commented Honorary Vice Consul Aldo A. Aguirre. There were two mobile consulates in Las Vegas during the course of the current year, 2011.
